This clinic is only interested in maximising profits for the clients they see. There is zero continuity of care. I was seen by 3 different people when I started my cycle, one being a non consultant grade doctor and another an ultrasonographer. They all missed something on my scans which meant my cycle couldn't proceed. No accountability as I was no one's patient - I later overheard repeat patients specifically ask to see the same doctor / nurse again so the random nature of who you end up seeing is routine here, in spite of the fact they are the most expensive clinic we went too. There is zero interest in the individual. Note many scans are done by ultrasonographer. I did more scans there later, of the 3 scans done by ultrasonographer all 3 missed / incorrectly diagnosed something. When I asked one if she was sure about what she'd seen she responded 'we don't make this up'. Well I went to my usual highly experienced consultant a few days later who confirmed, as I expected, that the ultrasonographer had incorrectly diagnosed a polyp when I didn't have one. Please make sure you ask to see a consultant doctor every time if you go to this clinic - for the prices you are paying and the stress of the experience you deserve this

I would recommend this clinic because I had success first time with IVF. I do however feel care and respect could be improved and I would hope they ask for and take onboard customer feedback for future patients

I felt the clinic took a generic approach with IUI first without disclosing the low likelihood of success purely based on my age. Knowing what I know now after two years of treatment IVF would have been a better and more cost effective method. Also they did not disclose about fertility treatment packages that offer unlimited goes or refunds. It felt like I was a cash cow.

The introduction of Client/Patient /liaison staff member made all the difference between our first & second child.
Not the most cost effective, but great location & if you get the right fit Dr, you can have a great service.
Ultimately we had two children with LWC, so I really can't complain.

The staff completing the actual procedures eg FETS were fantastic! So caring and helpful. Really supportive. The consultants planning/ discussing treatment were not.

Having changes clinics I can now see that some of things could have been improved. Our consultant never examined me or performed any scans or embryo transfers and our consultations were based on medical notes. I feel more confidence in having a consultant who has been with me at every stage.
I also felt the consultations were quite basic and there was never much suggestion of investigations or things to try. It was just a case of lets try and see what happens.
There was also an occasion where a couple of nurses laughed at me prior to a procedure which made me feel really uncomfortable.
Mostly the staff were lovely and there are a few nurses who went above and beyond to make our experience better, but overall I found our treatment disappointing.
I would also say it was very money focused and on one occasion they wanted to charge £100 to show my wife how to inject my medication which I felt was outrageous. If they are prescribing it they should include this.
The clinic at Harley Street is quite small and I found the ward you are put in after egg collection lacked privacy. Hearing other patients have success when your results aren’t great is very difficult. And I think this could be handled more sensitively
