The introduction of Client/Patient /liaison staff member made all the difference between our first & second child.
Not the most cost effective, but great location & if you get the right fit Dr, you can have a great service.
Ultimately we had two children with LWC, so I really can't complain.

The staff completing the actual procedures eg FETS were fantastic! So caring and helpful. Really supportive. The consultants planning/ discussing treatment were not.

Having changes clinics I can now see that some of things could have been improved. Our consultant never examined me or performed any scans or embryo transfers and our consultations were based on medical notes. I feel more confidence in having a consultant who has been with me at every stage.
I also felt the consultations were quite basic and there was never much suggestion of investigations or things to try. It was just a case of lets try and see what happens.
There was also an occasion where a couple of nurses laughed at me prior to a procedure which made me feel really uncomfortable.
Mostly the staff were lovely and there are a few nurses who went above and beyond to make our experience better, but overall I found our treatment disappointing.
I would also say it was very money focused and on one occasion they wanted to charge £100 to show my wife how to inject my medication which I felt was outrageous. If they are prescribing it they should include this.
The clinic at Harley Street is quite small and I found the ward you are put in after egg collection lacked privacy. Hearing other patients have success when your results aren’t great is very difficult. And I think this could be handled more sensitively
