Do not recommend. Crgw have the most horrendous customer service and communication. They do not answer the phone, they do not reply to emails. They make you feel like you are a hassle, and just another number. When I had a positive test after iui I was concerned with the pain and knew that it was an ectopic, the doctor at crgw told me it wasn't an ectopic without even seeing me, it was an ectopic and my fallopian tube ruptured. I spent a lot of money here and deeply regret it.

Although we didn’t get the result we wished for, I do know lots of people that have. So I do always recommend to friends. There’s not a lot of clinics to choose from in south wales area.

The doctor should be visible throughout treatment during scans. I only saw a nurses who did the scans who reported back. I did a mini ivf cycle but felt the dose was reduced a lot by the recommended 150iu a day for this protocol and the dose was not increased. During the cycle I also thought about cancelling. The follow up was done by another doctor who recommend 150iu dose and going back to same meds used on previous failed cycles with NHS.
At the time of my first contact I was told the waiting period was a few months, which was in 2021 and around covid, but by the time I had done the tests and consultation that same month, the waiting period increased to over 6 months; I felt this was poor management and expectations was not clearly communicate and which would have made us go to another clinic but by this time we had already invested, paid for the tests, consultation and nurses protocols appointment and would have had to start again.
No additional testing was offered and I had done this at another clinic abroad, finding several issues which went undiagnosed for years.
My protocol to time the cycle was also awful, causing me to take both the birth control pill over several months and then a cycle to take a pill from day 21 which caused side effects.
The clinic does not advertise advance protocols such as ZyMot, although I was advised recently by a nurse this can now be used but there is no mention on the website.
During the transfer it was mentioned I could request the Timelapse video - which I did during the follow up and by email but never received it.
Comparing my cycle at CRGW and other clinics the cycle here was my worst overall. I have since been receiving treatment abroad and have found the overall experience there much better, including seeing the same doctor throughout, personalised protocols and testing.

The care is inconsistent with every treatment. Sometimes you have a great team from start to finish who are good at communication, and sometimes you have someone call for after care to just check in and see if everything’s ok.
Every doctor is different, some listen and is honest to say not to waste money on certain medication and extra treatments, some just want to throw every penny they know of into a treatment.

One size fits all plan, upon discovery of a CRGW social media group, 6 people were all on the same protocol despite having totally different needs .e.g. patients with PCOS and low ovarian reserve on exactly the same plan and medication. When I raised this with the doctor she told me I was making it up.

Overall the experience I had with CRGW was a very positive experience. The communication was excellent throughout. At last minute, the treatment plan changed from ICSI to IVF due to only having retrieved 2 eggs. They were very knowledgable and advised on the best way forward, which was IVF. A great clinic and would recommend to anyone going through fertility issues
