I found the whole experience at St Mary's Hospital disappointing. All communications are done through an app, which is great for instant access and sending documents but the concept of treating us as human beings was totally lost. There was little to no companion from the staff, with Julie in the recovery room being the exception (she was brilliant). The whole experience felt like we were treated as a number. There was no consideration of my circumstances (I.e endometriosis, adenomyosis and fibroids) in my treatment. How to use the medications was not demonstrated once. I was told to watch the video and no guidance or assistance was offered, even though I asked, by the nurses. The pre-op or teach did not do anything like that.... it was merely a chance to go through some forms and check BMI. Absolutely zero time is given by this clinic to make sure you know what you are doing and you are confident. During the stim phase, I was left to it and there was no attentiveness of the staff to ensure I was OK and had no issues with this phase. There was miscommunication when I was given my trigger to the point where when I had to go back to pick up another treatment I had no idea what I was getting, due to the limited hours on a Sunday, no one could get back to me to say what to do or how.
The whole experience was not pleasant and the clinic didn't make me feel confident or at ease with the treatment. I would not recommend the clinic to anyone.

St Mary’s was a truly incredible clinic…every member of staff supported us on our IVF journey from the very beginning all the way to that amazing positive pregnancy result…we even took our little baby boy in to visit to say thank you for changing our lives forever. A wonderful place full of incredibly special people.

It differed according to staff and where the appointment was. The nurses were lovely and friendly everytime except 2st appt where our test results were given - no tact or compassion.
Egg collection - felt like we were going down to the basement and had to wait in a corridor to be let in (lots of couples queued up!).

I received NHS funded egg freezing treatment due to a cancer diagnosis. Old St Marys was a very friendly and empathetic place to receive my treatment although it suffered some typical NHS type issues like not enough staff, but this did not affect my treatment or cause any delays or upset

Chaos, clinic kept forgetting about our appointments. We didnt get any support from counsellors after failed ivf. Had to complain 3 times to get appointments booked, my husbands fertility issues were ignored. Overall very bad experience, left me with depression
