Overall Feedback
I feel like the treatment was basic. If you had medical issues privately is better. There was not as many options as private clinics. They did not offer chromosome testing or other treatments was either IVF or ICSI. I was not offered ICSI even with failed IVF attempts. When I went privately I was given this. I would not recommend this clinic. Everything was basic care and basic communication. I would not recommend basic treatment, basic care and basic communication. I completed both NHS and self funded treatment. Therewas no difference in care.

Absolutely impossible to get in contact with outside of arranged appointments. Phone calls are very often met with answering machine and calls never returned.

Overall Feedback
Homerton is very disorganised. Appointments never run to schedule (I was almost always kept waiting 30mins+). Phonelines are difficult to get through on, and confusing to know which department to speak to. Doctors were quite sterile and never took the time to get to know me. Some of the nurses were much more personable. No review of why cycles may have failed. Clinic shut whilst I was in treatment due to staff shortages, but lack of communication during this time was very distressing. Over the last few months, I have witnessed real improvements in quality of care, so I do believe they are trying to make things better. They should consider the BEST treatment plan, rather than always opting for the cheapest option.

Overall Feedback
Im having treatment at the Homerton again now with my partner, and although we are in the early stages, things seem to have improved a lot. I was very young when I had my first treatment, but felt very rushed, little explanation and the transfer was a worrying experience. However, this time I feel very cared for, understood and supported. I was also informed of the change in guidelines and that I now have the option to move to any clinic offering NHS funded treatment.

Overall Feedback
It was a hospital environment, from reception to the waiting area to seeing the nurses and doctors. It could have been an ordinary medical appointment. I thought there was a lack of emotional support. Our referral to counselling came quite late in our journey and this was upsetting. Medical reviews were much later than we would have liked.
