Overall Feedback
I was grateful to have one NHS-funded round through St. Bart's. The treatment plan was sound and care from nurses and consultants was thorough. I did not have one consultant that I worked with throughout the process and communicated mainly with nurses who were pretty consistent. You don't get innovation and personal attention with the NHS. I felt I was also pressured to transfer 2 day 3 embryos to get me through the system and be done. There was also no advice on what I could do outside the treatment plan to help like with supplements, diet, etc. I don't feel like the aim was success, it was more just pass me through the system.

Overall Feedback
The receptionist were not sympathetic at all. I struggled to understand my cycle and struggled to understand the drugs I was taking. There was a lack of communication. For example, they stopped one of my cycles but didnt tell me so I carried on taking medication. I was also prescribed with steroids instead of them weaning me off the steroids. They decided to take them off me abruptly and I had loads of side-effects post cycle. None of the tests were up to date for each round. So my blood tests were done at the start of the first round and never retested three years later. I only recently found out that I actually have low progesterone. This was never tested that clinic.

Overall Feedback
I had 2 rounds of IVF at this clinic. The first on the NHS, the second private. The first resulted in a pregnancy but a subsequent early missed miscarriage. The second failed but I had enough frozen embryos for a third implant which was successful. Overall I would say that all the medical staff here are truly fantastic. Really caring and respectful. They have time to explain everything and answer any questions. The downside is the administration. It’s pretty abysmal! You need to have a lot of patience and be prepared to chase them A LOT! That said, the medical treatment itself and the care provided was really very good so I would definitely recommend this clinic. I would say my treatment was very straightforward as I didn't have any medical/fertility complications so I can't comment on how good it would be for more complex cases.
