As someone with endometriosis who started treatment through the NHS, I didn’t know what to expect with this private fertility clinic. But we attended an open day and I had a good feeling about it. Once we started treatment, all the staff were friendly, professional and respectful. The first sonographer was able to spot my endometriosis and adenomyosis and had suffered with both these conditions herself. The medical staff had a lot of knowledge about the impact of specific medications and treatment in endometriosis patients. I felt in safe hands and wish I had gone to them sooner. When we did FETs with our surrogate they did not have any judgement and treated us both with respect. I am so happy I now have my baby boy and I look forward to thanking the staff in person one day soon!

It was mostly warm and welcoming, but was dependent on who you got to see. There was one particular nurse who was amazing and went above and beyond to take time to explain everything and reassure us when we were scared and nervous about scan results.
There were a couple of others who didn't have such a friendly approach which wasn't ideal when you're going through a stressful situation, but most of the time they were great.

While I have no doubt the quality of medical treatment at London Womens Clinic is world class, their admin and communications is a total shambles! We are supposed to have a Patient Care Coordinator assigned to us, but I hardly ever hear from the same person twice. The turnover of staff is so rapid they dont even bother telling us when our PCC leaves. Ive had to keep precise records of my treatment and really advocate for myself. I frequently get sent invoices for things I do not owe, and have had to chase and chase for appointments and follow ups. If I had my time again I would not use LWC and I wouldnt recommend them to others.
