Overall Feedback
The original appointment is with the main consultant, who afterwards you do not see at all as all appointments are done by a rotating number of doctors who were not that aware of the background. I did two cycles in this clinic and the first circle resulted in a couple of embryos. The main consultant did not recommend doing PGT testing, and I ultimately ended up terminating pregnancy at 13 weeks due to genetic issues that could have been picked up by PGT testing prior to transfer. In addition, it very much felt that the clinic was focussed on financial side of things more than anything and with my second cycle I felt I was encouraged to proceed with my cycle when it should have been stopped due to lack of follicle development. It was very difficult to get through on the phone to the clinic and the online system of completing forms was very inconvenient. While I had better outcome in this clinic compared to the previous 3 clinics, I felt that the care was very much focussed on the financials to the detriment of the actual care and consideration of the patient situation. The location of the clinic is great and the facilities were good as well.

Overall Feedback
I had treatment with frozen donor sperm at this clinic in 2022. Honestly, I initially picked the clinic because of their success rate and the fact that they worked together with access fertility. These 2 things were my top priority, and I was OK to compromise on other things. After the initial large payments for my access fertility plan etc, the clinic were very good in the way that they let me purchase my meds as and when I needed them, as by this point I was getting short on money. I called a few times to ask questions and was always helped promptly. The Drs aren't overly friendly, but they are good at their job which was what mattered to me and I never felt unsafe or like they weren't confident in their own abilities. It was suggested I try IUI first, which has a lower success rate and I was made to feel a bit silly almost when I declined (because I didn't have several thousand to throw away, especially with donor sperm which is also ££££ per cycle, and also wanted future siblings) As far as costs, I actually have that written down, so here is that if it's helpful: Initial consult £150, saline scan & amh bloods £606, had a 2 cycle multicycle plan with freeze all (pcos) £9050, egg retrieval meds £1875 - I turned out to be a poor responder. To note, I was encouraged to cancel this cycle by one doctor and chose not to. The next Dr I happened to see (they switched around a lot) was much more positive and entirely disagreed with the first and increased stims which worked. FET meds £560 and on the day of fet was surprised with an ICSI add on of £1285 which I was not aware was going to happen. I've since learned this does happen sometimes with frozen sperm, but I don't recall being told this by the clinic and it was a lot of money to pull out of nowhere on the day. I didn't feel like my treatment was very complicated, nor tailored to me, but this wasn't a big deal to me as long as it worked. I had a positive experience with my treatment overall, and didn't find it stressful like I've heard others going through IVF say. It's also very close to Marylebone Station, which is excellent. This clinic does the job its there to do and I'd use them again (and access) and also recommend to others if a baby is your goal, as my first transfer led to mine. I had: 21 Eggs collected 17 Mature 16 Fertilised with ICSI 9 Frozen. I'm very grateful to Boston Place, they are the reason I'm a mum.
